SIDOLIBERTY AFRICA Initiative

Programos Foundation has among its prominent initiatives, the free “SIDOliberty graduate development initiative” which aims at retraining jobless graduates from diverse disciplines in specific business process and practice using ICTs applicable to the selected labour market segment and having them fixed up in the need areas of the financial sector especially in capital market space where shortage of adequate manpower was identified by the foundation. (These graduates were able to go to directed organization to speak and earn jobs that no vacancies were advertised. This meant that unemployed graduates merely needed capacity development exposures such as SIDOLiberty programme to opportunity areas which they could not get readily in the tertiary institutions.

 With digital innovation, these lives had changed from joblessness to gainful employment thereby improving the social wellbeing of the beneficiaries and their families. Some of them are currently employers of labor and had become certified in numerous rewarding endeavors after this opportunity offered by Programos Foundation.
