The Programos Foundation is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization that envisions Nigeria is a country in which widespread access to high quality education, information, communication, and technology lead to a more developed and just society.
Established in 2011, the Programos Foundation headquartered in Lagos, NIGERIA, advocates free and highly subsidized information-technology-enabled-services entrepreneurship education among our growing unemployed graduates from the tertiary institutions in our society. It is an advocate, educator, catalyst and facilitator, promoting the wise use of knowledge economy endowments for sustainable enterprise development, entrepreneurship development for our graduate and undergraduate youths and institutional effectiveness.
Programos Foundation was set up with the purpose to provide information, tools, knowledge and to promote dialogue in society.
Since its inception, the Programos Foundation has worked to use the powerful, and often times underutilized, tool of ICT to advance development and gender equality in Nigeria. Through our work, we have seen the importance of technology in fulfilling our objectives, communicating to the public, maintaining effective outreach, gathering information, and fundraising.
